Have a look at what we offer and find the destination for you.
Dolomites and Val Pustertal
This verdant, perfectly formed valley looks like something out of a painting, its mountainous contours fresh out of a sculptor’s workshop. As you head from west to east you will discover a land of harmonious beauty in its vast expanse of green plains. In the majestic Sexten Dolomites of the east the Three Peaks of Lavaredo rise up out of the landscape. The iconic Lake Braies is a striking turquoise jewel in the Fanes-Sannes-Braies National Park that you do not want to miss. It is spectacular at any time of the year!
This is truly an outdoor lover’s paradise and has countless opportunities to get involved in hiking, climbing, skiing, mountain biking and much more! Naturally, this is the ideal spot for those who just want to relax and breathe in the fresh mountain air too.
Meran and the surrounding area
The famous spa town of Meran shines in its Austro-Hungarian elegance. It proudly wears its history, without seeming too stuffy or out of date. Quite the contrary. Today you will find a modern town which is complete with a booming nightlife scene, unrivalled shopping along its elegant streets like Via Portici, and excellent gastronomic fare to tempt your tastebuds. If you are the hunt for a place to let stress melt away, you can take some time out at the Meran Thermal Spa. For those who are feeling a bit more energetic there is the Tappeiner Trail, a circuit that takes you high above the city. Meran is simply the perfect mix of mountain vistas and Mediterranean spirit.
Just a stone’s throw away from the centre is the Trauttmansdorff Castle which the Emperor Sissi once famously swooned over. And for good reason- today the castle’s grounds contain one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in all of Italy.
Oltradige-Bassa Atesina
The south of the region extends outwards from the incredible Strada del Vino – the Wine Route. As the name suggests, here you can find some of the region’s finest wine producers. Due to its special microclimate, you feel as if you have been transported to the Mediterranean, as you suddenly find yourself surrounded by cypress and palm trees and gorgeous blue lakes, rather than tall pines and mountain vistas. From the wineries of Cortaccia, Magré, Appiano and Termeno, you will find yourself immersed in gorgeous surroundings complete with castles and historical edifices. In this lush green landscape are three stunning lakes – Caldaro, Monticolo and Favogna- where you can relax and cool off when the days are stifling. If you are not a fan of wild swimming you can also follow one of the numerous bike trails in the area and take a very relaxed pedal along the long, easy paths stopping at one or two wineries along the way. Wouldn’t you like to be here already…?
